An impressive driveway lined with old chestnut trees leads to the château. The estate has two houses, a dovecote, a large barn, two terraced gardens with pond and fountain, own water and many old trees. Once La Ruats was a wine château. The oldest part - kitchen, cellars and tower - dating back to the 15th century. In 1773 rebuilt the rest of the château.

This house is located on the second intimate cour of the estate, adjacent to the old barn. At the front, on the cour, the water is heard flowing from its source in the old stone cistern.
